Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 10 August 2026
Heart Roofing Ltd wants everyone to be able to use this website, whatever device they use and however they browse. This statement explains what we have done and how to tell us if something is not working for you.
How accessible this site is
This site has been built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA, and to meet our duty to make reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010. In practice that means:
- Every part of the site can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, in a sensible order, with a clearly visible focus outline
- A skip to content link is the first thing a keyboard or screen reader user reaches on every page
- Body text meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 against its background, and larger text at least 3 to 1
- Headings run in a logical order so a screen reader user can navigate by structure
- Every form field has a visible label that is properly associated with it, and errors are described in words rather than by colour alone
- Images carry alternative text, and images that are purely decorative are hidden from screen readers
- Animation and movement are switched off automatically if your device is set to reduce motion
- Text can be resized to 200 per cent and the layout reflows without loss of content
- The cookie banner is keyboard operable, moves focus to itself when it opens, and can always be left with the keyboard
Known limitations
We test the site regularly, but no site is perfect and content changes over time. If you find something that does not work for you, we want to know about it.
